Madame Butterfly

Madame Butterfly is a series of opera posters. Each poster shows an iconic portrait of a singing woman as the central figure of the opera plot and a symbol of passion. The series covers operas such as Madame Butterfly, Tosca and Norma, and reflects the tragic and dependent role of women in their librettos. Every composition presents the final scene, the culmination of the story. The design draws on minimal shapes, expressive painting and the Memphis style, with open colors and strong contrast. The posters are printed in A1 size on carton paper.

The toucan was defined by the fact that it is one of the largest seed dispersers of Brazilian fauna and one of those responsible for the formation of tropical forests. Thus, for the brand, the dispersion of seeds by the toucan conceptually symbolizes the dissemination of knowledge that is the purpose of the website.

The key visuals represent the transformation of abstract math concepts into three-dimensional graphics. The challenge was to balance the fun and engaging setting for the target audience with professionalism as an educational technology brand.
