Corbusier architectural language is well extracted and expressed in the wayfinding-sign design in this project. In general, the whole rough bold appearance is featured by exaggerated crude concrete components and exposed unfinished structures and facilities; in detail, cool shadows of heavy metal materials produce artistic 3D visual effects, conveying a powerful sense of minimalism.
Continue readingCloud Mountain Type is a typeface inspired by the cloud and fog mountains of Zhang Jiajie and by ancient Chinese landscape painting. The letterforms combine traditional Chinese cloud and mountain imagery with the structure of the Latin alphabet. Each character is hand drawn and then refined with digital image software, and the typeface can be used at variable sizes. Seen very closely, the details take over and the letter becomes hard to recognize, much as the shape of a mountain cannot be seen from its summit.

The kanji also contains the meaning of to create. The silhouette of Good's hand is formed using this character, which means to create. In this way, the company's slogan of Creating Good is expressed in a single mark. The symbol mark expresses the company's commitment to creating Good in the world through creative measures.
Continue readingAudio Technica Excellence is a poster series created for an audio equipment brand. The design places natural grass and seeds beside the precise mechanical parts of audio products. Both elements are arranged flat, so their shapes and fine colors can be compared in detail. All images were composed from photographs taken for the project. The texture refers to an old handwritten vegetation picture book, a choice made because the brand's products are analogue. The posters present sound as a natural part of human life.

It is surrounded by trails of fog wounding their way through the morning light and the checkerboard created by peasants' hard work. It is a pleasant and almost enchanted place. It is a gem that tells a story made by peculiar legends, protected animals, and grapes that become world-renowned Made in Italy's excellences: the Tortellini, the Balsamic Vinegar, and the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Continue readingScentwalk is a conceptual corporate identity for a future company that extracts and stores memories in the form of smell. The logo is an abbreviation of the brand name and is built from the ideas of odor molecules, data, extraction, collection and walking. The color scheme uses holographic silver foil, a material that looks silver but reflects color in light, echoing the idea that gas is colorless yet can create emotion. The mark is dynamic and joined by a specific sound. Related posters and products address the self, partners, family and friends.
